My journey into flyer design began during the MySpace era of the mid/late-2000s. One of my initial side gigs involved crafting MySpace pages and pictures, inspired by a friend’s graphics. I messaged him to inquire about his process, and he generously shared a step-by-step tutorial, igniting my passion for design. Over time, this passion for flyer design grew alongside my writing skills.
Since then, I’ve self-taught various art styles, specializing in collage and neo-retro aesthetics. Designing has been a hobby for most of my life, during which I’ve also learned front-end code (CSS, JavaScript & HTML). Additionally, I am self-taught in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and InCopy. Honing in on other programs, such as Canva, Go Daddy Studio (formerly Over), Sketch, and Figma.
