Hi, I’m Amber Lauren
I’m a 26-year-old Brooklyn, NY native on a mission to shake up the culture. With almost a decade of experience in various channels of media, from my beginnings in Radio to a degree in Journalism, and beyond. These unique experiences reflect my nontraditional skills across Mediums.
In January 2020, I founded WavyWMN, a platform and community dedicated to celebrating and educating Black Womxn wavers from around the world. Taking inspiration from the lack of visibility that Womxn wavers have, and noticing the lack of conversations around waving when discussing natural hair.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a lover of all things food, pop culture, and music. My goal is to create streamlined content among various industries, while marketing and distributing said content across a wide range of different audiences.
