From 1968 to 2015, Air Jamaica traversed the friendly skies, linking the third largest Caribbean island to the world. Established in 1963, the airline took flight shortly after the nation gained independence from Great Britain in 1962. By the late 1970s, it served multiple major cities globally, including Toronto, London, New York, and Chicago. Fast forward to 2002, when the Jamaican government introduced Jamaica Day, a celebration to foster cultural pride, initially launched in 11 schools. I aimed to create a mock-ad reflecting my Jamaican pride and showcasing various aspects of the culture. As the saying goes, I wish you many happy returns!
