In the U.S., beauty sales surged by 14% in the first nine months of 2023, as reported by Circana. To showcase the industry’s enduring strength, creating a mock-ad was crucial– for both relevancy but also pinpointing the intended audience. Crafting this ad with the tagline “may your face card never decline” directly nods to a line from “Heated,” a track on Beyoncé’s Renaissance album. This resonates with skincare and overall health, cleverly utilizing the MasterCard as a symbol of luxury and exclusivity.
